My favorite part of the pod was watching Santa climb the ladder 😂

I demand a full episode of Friedberg discussing UFOs

Okay the comments are full of it, so I try to give a more specific explanation to what David Sacks was bringing for me:
-Sacks gave a reality check on some opinions
-he had some good points
-balanced out the mood, so it is not too positive
-he was authentic
-he said what was on his mind without much care for the optics of his opinion

In essence a temporary replacement would be better suited by someone not overly positive and polished, but someone, who has similar political views, just says them and has experience in tech/investments and gets along with you.

The last people are just too positive and careful.

My 2025 prediction:
Eveytime Sacks isnt here, the top comment will be somewhat "i miss Sacks"

These guys are lost without the visionary, David Sacks

Friedberg offers the most sensible predictions by cutting through ideological rhetoric and focusing on the underlying human psychology that shapes business practices.

I never missed an episode. I stopped watching when Sacks left. Now I return every week to see if he’s back. Its just not the same 😢

H1B biggest story of 2024 right at the tail and end crickets. I know it isnt comfortable but you need to address it. This is the only pod on my rotation I've been waiting to address it because it is aimed squarely at your industry. Don't hide; man up and discuss it.

Sacks’ brought wisdom, maturity, dry comic relief and seemed to be the glue. Have appreciated watching Chamath’s willingness to be authentic and have noticed most growth in him. Like a fine wine or recipe, all elements affect end result. Keep evolving guys, but enjoy the process or don’t do it. Obvious who enjoys this pod and who doesn’t.

Best part of the video is the Santa ornament in Jason's background going up and down the tree

While we miss Sacks, I really enjoy Gavin Baker’s business acumen and opinions. Also, it’s great to see the pod talking more about business than politics like how they used to in the first few years. Keep it going All-In!

You guys have missed the vibe if you think the H-1B issue is going away.

I think we are seeing what would have happened if 3 of the remaining Beatles tried to keep the band together.

Even if you could convince me that aliens had a reason to visit Earth in person you'd never be able to convince me that New Jersey would be their destination of choice.
