When employees begin to run out of food, they reduce portion sizes to stretch the remaining amount in the pan. This is what customers are experiencing. When your entire customer base claims that portions are shrinking, it's a clear sign that something is wrong. The CEO seems out of touch with this reality.

Cramer says to buy the stock before it splits. Just so people are aware a split does not make the stock valuation any different. it simply divides the same market cap into more shares. that in itself should not be a reason to invest in a stock.

I work at chipotle and I will say that we will give you as much as you want of anything except meat, queso, and guac. HOWEVER, our portion training cards say we’re only supposed to give a scoop of each thing to customers to start and only give them more if they ask more. If you order online obviously we’re gonna give you that one scoop of each unless you specify vs when you come in then we’ll give you as much of whatever you want except the three things already mentioned. Also the portions HAVE gotten smaller just saying 😅 he’s lying to yall.

I just went to Chipotle for thr first time since 2017, and the portion size definitely shrunk significantly. I will wait another 7 years and see if there are any changes.
