UN General Assembly approves resolution granting Palestine new rights

UN General Assembly voted to provide Palestine with additional "rights and privileges" and urged the Security Council to reconsider its request for membership in the United Nations. The resolution, sponsored by Arab and Palestinian representatives, was endorsed by the 193-member world body with a vote of 143-9, with 25 abstentions.

Its amazing to see as some parallels can be drawn between the justifications used by the Nazis for the Holocaust and those used by Gilad Erdan for Israelians actions against Palestinians:

Nationalism and Scapegoating:
Just as the Nazis used nationalism and scapegoating to justify their actions, sGilad Erdan have used similar tactics. he have portrayed Palestinians and surrounding Arab and Muslim nations as threats to the existence and security of Israel.

Fear of the Other:
The Nazis conflated Judaism with Bolshevism to fuel antisemitism. Similarly, Gilad Erdan have conflated Palestinian nationalism with terrorism to justify Israelians actions.

Ethnic Purity:
The Nazis sought racial purity through the extermination of Jews. Gilad Erdan have sought to maintain a Jewish majority in Israel, which has involved the displacement of Palestinians.

Historical Trauma:
The Nazis used Germany’s defeat in World War I as a justification for their actions. Gilad Erdan use the history of Jewish persecution, including the Holocaust, as a justification for the establishment and actions of Israel.
