Today signifies Day 13 of Aviation Spotters Online fabulous adventure at the 2023 Australian International Airshow.
Monday post show historically is departures day, with most, if not all active and static aircraft depart back to their respective bases or country of origin.
The Royal Australian Air Force didn't disappoint the gathered at the southern end of the runway, with some fantastic take-offs and top side passes that put a smile on many a photographers face.
The United States Air Force took the honours with the launch of their three tankers....firstly with the newest on the block, the Boeing KC-46A Pegasus, followed by the venerable KC-135R Stratotanker, with the KC-46A flying alongside as it took off, then to end the medley, the soon to be retired McDonnell Douglas KC-10A Extender, otherwise known as 'Big Sexy'.
Here's a quick grab from today's departures.
We here at ASO thank one and all for your views and likes during the past couple of weeks as we've covered the show.
Please stay tuned for more vision and imagery to come as we process.
