Photoshop: How To Cut Out an Image - Remove & Delete a Background

preview_player
Показать описание
A simple and quick tutorial on how to cut out an image and remove the background in Photoshop. This basic Photoshop cc/cs6 tutorial will show you how to delete that background and use your image for your other projects. Deleting a background can be really easy when you use the magnetic lasso tool combined with polygonal lasso tool and masks. This is part 2 to my pen tool tutorial in a much easier way. I also discuss the selection tool and it's available options.

This was one of the best tutorials I've watched. Speaks clear and slow, does not grandstand or act goofy to be cute. He is a great teacher.

That was good. No extra waffling to bore everyone. Straight in and explained in a very understandable way, without that high speed cursor movement that the other Pros do when they forget there are fresh users out in the real world!

As a side note: If you want to have the image with no background (so a png image) remember to save as png.

I have been trying to learn how to cut out an image for MONTHS and this was the most comprehensive video I've seen. I FINALLY understand what I'm doing. Thank you so much.

This is where I saw someone clarifying everything in details and slowly so we can understand that easily. But in most of the other videos they guide us very fast and so I have to pause the video again & again to understand just what he did which is pretty much boring. As a result I loose my enthusiasm to do something creative. Thanks for the detailed guide and thumbs up.

Nice video on a tool that doesn't seem to get a lot of publicity. Got to remember I can press CTRL to close a loop if I don't want to complete it (which would be virtually all the time if I'm adding to or subtracting from a selection). Keep his tip in mind because it will save you all a lot of time!

Why anyone would downvote this puzzles me. This is a valuable skill that you just demonstrated. Thank you so much!

It would be really great if you explained how you're scrolling around. You did mention how to zoom before you began, but once you begin the alt+scroll no longer works, and you can't scroll the image with the scroll wheel either. To move the mouse away begins a process of selecting across the image.

I figured it out on another video (space bar+left click to drag image).

THANK. YOU. You have, in one video, demystified these tools that have plagued me for years. Well done. I will be visiting your channel over and over again.
