Government has not released Nodding Syndrome funds - Health Ministry

Members of Parliament from northern Uganda have raised concern that the shs 1 billion the House recently approved for allocation to the districts affects by nodding syndrome have not been disbursed.

Health Minister Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng told Parliament that they did not have the money, saying the finance ministry was better placed to explain but state minister for finance in charge of planning David Bahati could not immediately give answer.
