I would have her make drafts of what she wanted to write by telling me and im writing it and then help her make sure she write them right after i know what she is trying to write

My friend’s dad passed from cancer when her youngest sibling was still in elementary. I remember he wrote out letters for each of them, since our school offered a section in the yearbook where parents could put messages to their kids. Each one who graduated after he passed got personalized messages from him. It was always so bittersweet.
