This only works if you haven't killed the NPC. I killed the white mask guy and the rot guy and tried this to reset them in order to get the ashes of war but does not work. It does not reset the story line.

You cant revive all of the npc, some of them like varre cant be respawned therefore ruining your playthrough as you cant get the infinite finger or get to mohg palace.

Note: this does not work for every npc. Fact. My friend cannot get white face to revive.. in any shape or form. He's all the way locked from that questline

It doesn’t work for some npc’s I killed the samurai dude you get the nagakiba from and it says I don’t need absolution.

DISCLAIMER: SOME NPCS CANT BE REVIVED so....the ONLY and TRUE method to revive ALL the NPCs the game :))

Does this potion work on the first merchant guy? He killed me so I got stronger then clapped him up.. now I need him back for his quest then I’ll kill him again later

I managed to oneshot patches while doing volcano manor questline… is it possible to revive him/ start the quest after That? With multiplayer or any other way?
