About the drops. If you don´t have the surface rendered in when they come down they won´t have beams. However they do exist. You just have to look for them without beams and when they despawn you should see beams for the new drops.

Im on day 30 right now, but just wanted to say, the big bird is a gigantoraptor it allows you to reset baby imprint items AND locate wild babies and tame them instantly.

38:03 Not a glitch, plant z seeds are their kibble just like with the lightpets, and they'll also take ascerbic mushrooms (the torpor ones). You need chitin in your inventory to be able to initiate the tame yeah, but in terms of effectiveness it's basically like feeding a carnivore raw meat or a lightpet any mushrooms other than the kind they prefer.

So glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like Yi-Ling and don't understand how they even won. That chimeraraca thing that was like a black scorpion-spider was the coolest by far and something that would fit ABB. Really dumb that a bunch of seven year olds voted for Yi-Ling cuz it was the coolest when we already have a much bigger, less annoying, and controlled in one area whereas Yi-Lings can be the death of you even with a full on reaper queen since they do percentage based damage. And they're a huge threat as wild creatures, but once tamed, they kind of suck other than for taming. In my opinion, they can tame creatures much easier especially when you need slaughter creatures like parasaurs and ravagers. I feel like another giant boss creature like that chimera spider-scorpion would fit so much better in the depths of the blue zone and maybe it only spawned in like areas near walls or something. Yi-Lings in green zone and this numerous is so troublesome. Petition to add that Chimera creature to ark for Genesis --->

If you look at the time of day when you tamed the first megalo, I bet what happened was it turned to technically "night" and they automatically wake up at night.

Just so you know the gigaraptor is an amazing early game tame and is great for taming/ breeding. I got my first rock drake with Cosmo and then used the gigaraptor for incubation. It saves you on the 12 air-conditioners lol. It can really save you some time
