I have never been happier than when they showed up! I was so excited and I loved the bit where they went up to Cynthia and Ariana and were smiling. It was so sentimental to me because this show has such an amazing legacy and it was so nice to see the originals pass the roles on in a way.

When my mom and I saw Kristen and Idina in their cameo performance, we both let out a loud in the movie theater. IT was a full circle moment for us since we saw the play with these two powerhouses.

I was always hoping they would have a chance to make the movie with the OG cast as themselves waited my whole childhood, I’m happy at the very least they could honor them in this way ❤

It was absolutely sweet that they got to make a cameo in the film adaptations somehow!

Fun fact: The old Glinda is Maleficent from Descendants and the old Elphaba voices Elsa from frozen!

My mom and I got so excited when they appeared on screen, I was internally screaming and she slapped me in the arm and whispered “Did you know they were going to be in this?!” I replied no, we were so giddy the entire scene and when Idina sung a few notes of Defying Gravity our excitement levels went to all the way up, we kept talking about it the whole car ride home
