I think I got lucky enough to finally make a build or two now - the testing results blew me away.

In this video we break down the best route that we've found for farming Energy Activators in The First Descendant. We also got 100 Amorphous Materials and tested the drop rates, and we've got the data to prove this route's success.

Tips for farming? don’t let the game smell what you actually need

Pro tip for anyone opening up Amor while killing boss.if you wanna restart boss fast just add one of the bosses components to tracking info and when you kill it and open the Amor, you can open access info and click on component your tracking and then click on boss name and you can restart it way faster then waiting or going to albion.

idk if you are overlooking this but there is a terminal in albion where u can access all the dungeons so you don't have teleport to the region and run to the mission beacon
and personally ive been more so grinding ultimate descendants or weapons and activators or catalyst is mostly an afterthought, i think there are just a lot of amorhpous patterns where you can go for 2 or 3 drops that ud be happy about so you can squeeze more value out of them

I just replicated this last night, ran the 100 intercepts today. I got 1 energy activator. A third of the expected drop rate.

Honestly, great video. This has sparked a weird urge inside me to farm up to 100 EABPs and document every single Amorph opening.
I doubt I'll do that. But the urge is strong.

Need to find out the "want to stab myself in the eye with a rusty spoon" to # of runs needed to get an energy activator drop ratio. I imagine for most people it's long before 100. And likely long before 50 even. That's assuming RNG doesn't screw you. I've gone 30+ runs of missions that list a 20% chance of an item and gotten nothing. Granted you could also get lucky... but I'm guessing there are less 'lucky people' than there are 'not lucky people'.
I do appreciate the work put in though and finding optimal way for those who have a higher tolerance for repetitive tasks is always helpful.

You'd really have to hate your life to try farming for Activator blueprints. It's just not worth target farming because 99% of the time you'll only end up disappointed and titled. You'll get Activators eventually just farming for weapons and frames. Please don't do this to yourself.

I play warframe and it dont take much to get a forma and catalyst, the farming in this game is insane

This is crazy😂 but good on you for suffering through it. For anyone interested, in order to “almost” guarantee at least one blueprint, which has a 3% drop rate, you have to open at least 303 Amorphous materials😂 this gives you 99.99% odds of getting at least one to drop. Obviously the drops are random so you might get less or more drops in less or more amorphous opened. There is no guarantee that you will get any in 100 amorphous like the video maker does, this is all pure luck really. You might open 100 and get 100 blueprints, or you might get ZERO. The video is great, and shows they’re not impossible to get, but don’t ever expect guaranteed drops in any set amount of runs. Save yourself the disappointment and temper your expectations.

Tips : -For this type of mission in albion on the left side you can directly launch the mission instead of going on the map on foot (Operation Terminal)
-For restarting the boss at the end, if the F2 option already disappeared you can press escape and show previous reward mission then press R to restart

I’ve developed a weird habit, when I’m opening a amorphous material, I spam clicking on the icon of the object I want, been farming ult Ajax, got all 4 component back to back and finished all the farming within 3 hours. 😂

Instead of farming them directly, just make sure the energy or catalyst is always an option when farming for a specific part. That way you have at least two chances to get something you want each time you open a material. However if you specifically want a few asap this does seem like a solid low cost way of doing it.

Thank you for going through the hundred runs, I can't do that. I am going to go after Ultimates and be happy with energy activators and catalysts I get accidentally. The desire demon cares more about Ultimates and is happy to let go of few shinies.

Best way to farm for these is to farm for ultimate descendant

Got 3 while farming Ultimate Gley and 1 farming Ultimate Lepic

As for guns i got 2 activator while getting my Python and 2 trying to get the King guard lance that im still farming for.

Extra activator should only be farmed during end game and everyone should be using the 2 free story 1 for a farming character.

As for the void just don't be afraid of asking for help i often go help random ppl i see doing some cause im also getting a chance at transcend mods

Gonna give it a shot, only 1 activator bp in hundreds of hours, I’m open to trying anything at this point.
