Hi friends! Today I'm sharing the healthy habits that make up my morning routine 🌞 I've tried everything from journalling to meditation, exercise to supplements, so in this video, I take you through the parts of my morning routine that have stuck.

When buidling my morning routine, I've been really intentional in trying to create time for ME ⏰ - time to develop my thoughts, let my brain wander, reflect on what I'm grateful for, get my body moving... all ahead of a busy day at work as a corporate lawyer.

You absolutely shouldn't try to copy every single one of the habits that I mention in this video - my hope is just that you can take a hand full of these habits and start buidling them into your morning routine to make the start to your day happy, healthy and productive 😊

About Me

I'm a trainee lawyer, part-time YouTuber, son, brother, startup founder, boyfriend, black coffee drinker and plant dad. I graduated from Cambridge University (where I studied French and Spanish), topped my law school class and now work for a corporate law firm in London as a trainee solicitor (which takes up a lot of my time)!

Around that, I'm a big fan of discovering new ways of thinking, of balancing work with life, and of performing to the very best of my ability. Ohh, and being happy. And I try to share all that on this YouTube channel 😀

Hey Liam. I also believe in taking care of myself. With a balanced diet and a rigorous excercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an icepack while doing my stomach crunches. After I remove the ice pack, I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub.

Thank you from Florida! My morning routine is similar! I start my work at noon so I have a lot of time to workout, breakfast and few errands 😀

Scrolling in the morning is the worstttt thing you can do. That used to mess up the whole day for me.
I find exercising before breakfast to be so worthwhile too. I listen to my own videos while I'm walking to remind me of the lessons I've learned.
I aspire to have a channel like yours 🤩 - the editing is great.

Hey Liam, just picked up a Menos backpack and I love it! So handy to have different compartments inside like the drinks holder! Quick question, what are your thoughts on using video games to unwind and relax? I'm tempted to purchase a console but don't want to fall into the trap of using it as a quick dopamine fix and losing focus when working from home. Thoughts appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks Liam. How many calories do you eat for breakfast? I also recommend considering some daily meditation and “read aloud” affirmations for your morning routine as well. Game changers!

Super helpful as usual!! Thank you so much for this video. But I have a question, I would love to isolate myself from news in the morning but working in IB requires that I look at economic and business news. I guess it is the same for you, right? If that is so, how do you manage to look at regularly in your busy agenda? I am struggling to look efficiently at news so would be glad to hear your suggestions!
