I bet I’ve watched 100 different tutorials over the last few months as a lover of this new hobby of AI art. Your tutorial is by far the best I have seen and I appreciate your gift as an instructor and the time and effort you put into this video! Thank you so much!!

I really can't say how much I loved this video. My Mom is in the last weeks of fighting cancer, and... I can't sleep. I just delay and delay. Then I wake up and I check my phone, feel an urge to check on her. Then I'm wide awake, and worrying. So art videos have been helpful. The more in-depth the better. I've been too stressed to really do much art lately, but I got a whole bag of my supplies from their house a few weeks ago, along with alcohol inks I never got to play with. I think... It would be cool if I ended up making something she'd like, show her that I'm going to keep at it, keep learning, keep growing. She used to do wonderful landscapes and even some realism, but stopped when life didn't really allow the time anymore. So I think it's something to try, and a way to channel some of what I'm feeling. I always loved making abstract acrylic art the most, so I feel like I'll like this, if I can just shush my perfectionist voice.

In anything in art, that voice is always there, but the thing I like to remember is that nobody has to see it. If it sucks, fine, sure, okay. It's not a failure, because I learned, even if it was just what not to do. It'll be easier to identify my mistakes next time. I started trying digital realism with the idea that if it was awful, I could never mention it to anyone and no one would be the wiser. I could just check it off my list and move on. To my surprise, I was kind of good, right off the bat. It's the freeing yourself from expectations part that's hard. But if you can get that down, just enjoy the journey, I don't think I've ever found anything so freeing.

I just wanted to comment and say thanks. People make videos for all kinds of reasons, watch them for just as many. But, being able to watch this at this point in time for me meant something, so thank you. I hope you keep it up. I'll be going through your other material on other sleepless nights, and here's hoping you're not the only one who'll be growing in your art. Stay awesome. 🌷

I'm just starting my alcohol ink journey and I cannot thank you enough for your videos. Not only do you beautifully show the practical methods, but listening to your creative approach and feelings about art are inspiring. Your calming and accepting attitude towards what we create is refreshing. Thank you from the UK sir

Wow! Thank you so very much for your refreshing teaching style. Your voice is so calming! Over the past 2 weeks I must have watched 50 tutorials on alcohol ink and fluid paint pours. Your style truly resonated with me and tapped into the core essence of why most of us desire to explore creative processes. With the uncertainty of our current world affairs I think there are tons of creatives young and old looking to challenge themselves in new ways. Thanks for your contribution to the journey!

this tutorial was just inspirational. we should all just make something today and feel really loose about it, because yesterday it didn’t exist.

I’ve just discovered the art of alcohol ink. I’ve never considered myself as a visual type of artist - words have always been my form of expression - but your videos has inspired me to try something new.
Thank you!

I watched Bob Ross with my mom, she and I painted so many pictures. Hers were so good she sold every one. I paint, only I'm doing alcohol ink now, and my 12 year old grand daughter is now watching Bob Ross! And painting . I'm over the moon! Happy. Thank you or these videos, . You give me courage to try!

As a kid, I would come home from school every day and Bob Ross was always on when I got home. Some days I would be in my room watching and fall out to sleep because the man had the most soothing voice! I loved art then and I still do and it is people like him and you that spark that interest in others. So thank you!

That tutorial was AMAZING!!! I'm fairly new to AI and this was by far (as others have said, as well) the most informative I've seen out there. I too, am a "Bob Ross" kid. I learned oils back in high school because of his influence. Now I do watercolors and AI. I love all my "internet teachers". You all have a special calling!!! ❤❤

I agree, you’re a fantastic instructor! Not just the practical information and tips, but for me the mental part of the process. Loved the idea of always thinking of it as “practice!” I will that with me always😊 Thank you!
