Rust was one of the rare venues where you could see interactions of all branches, absolutely random mini-collabs that actually happen once a year or never happen.
It is a pity that Rust has already faded into the background for most girls

A good number of people were apparently complaining about Rust content and saying it was boring or something. I thought it was fun for the most part. I'm with Gura. If the server is going to have a ton of rules her chances to be a goblin are going to plummet and she'll be afraid of upsetting whatever balance is going on. Better to be comfy and play other stuff if she feels that way.

Tight decay timers also screw it up for when they have a schedule to keep, some of them even quit a season because they lost everything for not log in it for a few days because they were busy. And the monthly+- resets also feels very quick especially for those that wanna play the game but don't have much time so they can't set up things slowly and leave it there for the next time, and those who grind a lot might get burnout to do it all again everytime

I really don't understand why they have so many rules, if people don't like it they can just find something else to watch, the upkeep issues are especially dumb considering hololive knows their schedules make it harder for them to play, it's such an easy fix

I think ID and Luna are the only ones I see streaming Rust lately. Season 3’s bugged map killed most people’s motivation.

I think this is also why Botan never got into HoloRust, in that she had played Rust before (Gura had as well from what she's said in past streams) and was used to the free-for-all PVP nature of the game. With HoloRust's rules mixed in (the only one I know for sure is they said no offline raiding) it put this stress on the rust veterans to not accidentally break a rule, making the game less fun to play generally. With no rules you could fully zen-loss a player by not just raiding but destroying/replacing their TC to take over the base.

As for the "babysit" bit, I think Gura isn't aware that they upped resource quantities and stack sizes, as well as reducing upkeep requirements (most of the active HoloRust players have like 300+ days of upkeep resources now).

Rust is about as time consuming as Minecraft only slightly worse as it resets every month removing from the server basically everything you've already accomplished. It makes for fun streams but I feel most streamers would just as soon play something different, and more interesting giving more variety for their viewers.

The rules are because they didnt want some veteran player like pekora to bomb and rob every house she see's like a typical rust player. Its sorta why botan wont play rust because she does not want to hurt her friends.

It is set because they wanted to maintain balance so when new players join they wont get girefed and ragequit. I mean look what rust did to shuba shuba 🤣 shot by suisei out of nowhere From what i understand the rules are
1. No offline raid
2. Number of turrets cant exceed 2
3. No armour (high quality metal) buildings

I dont think there are any other than that.but to me holorust is more like a social game.

when in season2 you can see en id jp meeting each other trying to say hi when they usually would never have.

because they are too afraid of language barrier or too shy.
