Neil Young & Promise of the Real perform “Harvest Moon” at Farm Aid 2019 at Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Wisconsin, on September 21.

Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid’s board of directors in 2001.

I worked that show as a stagehand at FOH, so, in spite of the rain, I had THE BEST SEATS! It was the longest, most physically-demanding week+ of work I've EVER worked in my life. This performance of THIS song will always remain with me.

Notice they didnt try to do the same backup Steelguitar, like Ben Keth ..I think Neil said once he could never be replaced ..This is great tho. Keep thegood work...

I was at this show! And I gotta say, the night was perfect with this song echoing in the Alpine Valley! beautiful night and wont forget this moment!

I was there.
Best show I've ever seen.
Then as I'm pulling out willie nelsons bus pulls in front of me.
Rain passed us an we got some good music. Best show ever.

They all did. But Lukas an neil was the best. Then they had willie sing a couple songs an wrap it up

I understand that work every day and sometimes do the same songs. But they where in Wisconsin. Ment a lot. Thanks guys

So happy I got to see Neil and Promise of the Real and Bob Dylan when the played in Ireland in July was a great day, last time that I had seen Neil was with Crazy Horse back in 93 at Slane Castle Ireland was the day after my 18th birthday what a way to turn 18 will always treasure those memories long may you run Neil

At this stage in his career, we know the man doesn't need the money. And at his age, the only thing that could make him play a concert like this is love of music, and belief in the cause. Very magical.
