Here we use vector decomposition to obtain the acceleration for an object sliding down a ramp with no friction.

Thanks for this... with my very limited understanding of trig, it seems like it should be so that a(down the ramp) = -g/sinθ being that the "ramp" appears to form the hypotenuse to the original θ angle. Why isn't that the case?
