I would join this group in a minute if the Democrats would pledge to take their thumbs off the scale and have truly fair and impartial primaries. You see, I trust the people to make the right choices from their hearts. But in the past we have seen our choices being manipulated by the Democratic party in favor of their favorite candidate. This time they have already decided not to support people who want to run against Democratic incumbents, even if they thought they could do a better job, even if we thought they could do a better job. How are we ever going to get people who are out of touch out of office? Also, the Democrats still have superdelegates to change our final votes. I believe, during the primary, The Party should be as impartial as the League of Women Voters. Rachel Maddow said we should use our hearts to vote in the primaries and our heads to vote in the general. That's what I did in 2016. I voted for Bernie with my heart and my heart was broken. I voted with my head for Hillary in the general and lost. We'll never know what could have been if the Democrats had played fair.
