Kevin Keegan was a god to me as a kid. He was one good lookin' rooster but tough as nails and had skills and determination that were out of this world. Some of those headed goals in the vid are extraordinary.

KK had the heart of a lion - and he was never afraid to go where it hurt. He was blessed with skill and a work rate (he always gave everything) and an amazing power wrapped up in a small frame. It became fashionable for certain people to mock him (you know who you are) but what a player to have on your side! Scored many great goals for the Reds before he left for Hamburg - they loved him there too.

I am 52 years old and man u fan tru and tru but kevin keegan is one of my favourite player during his playing days with liverpool. He went to hamburg and became twice the european player of the year 1979 and 1980 if not mistaken. Such a marvellous player he was.

what a player Kevin Keegan was, my childhood football hero, if i remember correctly he also did a tv spot where he demonstrated techniques such as vollying, heading etc.
What would he be worth today?, a truly amazing player, committed, industrious, talented, could out jump the big guys and what a prolific goal scorer

Keegan will always be in our hearts. To me he was the first and only thoroughly successful English (football) export! Shame that the way things turned out for England in the 70s to early 80s he didn't get a chance to shine in a World Cup
