Whether you like donuts, ice cream, cereal, cake, pastry, pies, eclairs are a classic French pastry from Paris France! whether it is a challenge, cheat day or treat, you cannot beat them! Today we are attempting to eat what could be the worlds biggest French pastry (atleast California biggest) eclair at Always Yours Bakery Cafe in Castro Valley CA! This eclair equaled about 50(?) individual ones and was not calorie free! in fact it probably had close to 10,000 calories with all the icing, crème and chocolate pastry ! I do not understand why there must be pieces of gold leaf.. Personally, I find it ridiculous.. I have never seen a chocolate eclair with gold on it.. And I come from France.. Is does gold taste better?, or is it just for prestige .. ?? . Or the price? ..
