i think its similar to the mantra "if you take care of your tools, they will take care of you.". the customers and regular are paramount to successful buisness, then putting extra time and money into them should only benefit both parties.

I was a chef and when chefs tried saying this to me I would argue that everyone gets the same as it’s not right to give someone extra treatment as other customers would find it unfair if they knew
