Star is one of the best, most wholesome Disney Characters ever. Watching it three times now, It blows my mind the animators were able to create a character that emotes SO much without saying anything. Chef's kiss.

The book was not totally safe behind the glass that it was slowly infecting him and Asha pestering him about the wishes and stars burst of energy was enough to finally corrupt him and use the book

My main issue with Wish is Asha, like they didn't give her the right personality, she should've been more like Mulan, careful, strategic, etc. She is also just extremely selfish, doing everything because she feels like it. She also kept saying that she wanted more, she did this because she's a character that doesn't know struggle, she doesn't have to pay for food, or shelter, or anything like that, she just has it. We are supposed to feel sympathetic for her because, "Oh, your grandpappy is turning 100 and still hasnt gotten his wish granted, " you need to understand, they are giving Magnifico their wishes WILLINGLY, they are risking not ever getting their wishes granted for a small chance that they don't have to work for it. Asha is the ONLY one who doesn't like the way Magnifico works, so she leads a rebellion, failing to realize that she was the reason why she didn't get hired, why Magnifico turned evil.

Magnifico:
He was a good character, at the start. He was a king who knew what it was like to loose everything, so he decided to protect everything with his life, ready to sacrifice it along with his sanity to save his kingdom, which is why it doesn't make since that they made him mad over... being pretty? I mean, that's what half of his villain song is about, so I guess. It also doesn't make since how many lines about taking something from someone to benefit another because, as I said preciously, he knows struggle, his entire struggle was loosing everything, so he wouldn't do it to someone else. He is prepared to sacrifice himself to protect his kingdom, the wishes, everything, and thats what they should've made him do, instead of having Simon betray everybody, he uses the book and hunts down the light himself, since everybody just wants their wish granted.

The 7 teens:
Underdeveloped, they might as well not exist

The Queen:
Sides with her husband, trying to get him to not use forbidden magic, but the moment he does sides with The 7 Teens, it doesn't make since, she would try to get him to come back to his senses, but no

Songs:
"I let you live here for free and I don't even charge you rent" "...here I are, " At all cost was perfect though, both renditions, and that says something cause I don't like a lot of slow songs like that

Afterstory:
The Kingdom would go bankrupt (No more getting your greatest desires granted and thats what got people to move there)

Art:
You can do 2D animation with 3D models, I don't know why they did it like that (It can have outlines and everything, there are tutorials)
