I've just ordered this and this video has helped a lot, I am entry level so this is a good learning tool for me (expensive but good) it's good to learn all the tips and tricks to get a good scan and this should suit my needs until ready to buy a more high end scanner, thanks!

The price of this is very close to 3DF Zephyr and then you can use any camera really, for subjects as big as buildings and as small as a small model figure. You do need a pretty high-end PC for that mind you.

Why does the live view of the scanned object look pretty good but the final output is so messy?

I already have. the MOLE. So what would be the reason for me to buy a newer scanner? If I was going to spend the money on a new one, which one should I get?
Or am I simply just using mine incorrectly? I'm not using mine for business just for hobbies.
