That’s a ridiculous caption. Everyone, including Stan himself, wasn’t sure if the ball was in or out until it dropped, so Nole did the tactically right call by hitting a high ball to Stan’s backhand. Stan was prepared, if you look carefully at his stance. He just hit it out cause he didn’t adjust his swing properly. That’s all.
