Tanned skin hides any imperfections, makes one look healthier, and makes chub look better in shorts & swimsuits. Has Nothing to do with not loving yourself. If it makes you happy- Do It

I apologize if someone already said this. I am an airbrush technician for my side gig and may I suggest that you exfoliate your skin and shave the night before you apply your sunless tan product. Once you exfoliate and shave, apply a moisturizer. Go to bed. Then wash your body again again the following morning. Make sure you only use oil free skin products that day before applying sunless tan and don't apply any moisturizer the day leading up to applying the sunless tan. If you can't exfoliate the night before then at least wait a few hours between exfoliation and tan. Also, if you don't have the deodorant, apply baby powder with a makeup brush and that works like a charm, especially in the crevices like under your booty, the lines in your neck, etc.

Here is a useful tip:

Since our elbows and knees are darker, massage a small amount of body lotion after applying self tanner :)

Ugh I was using tanning beds for over 10 years just recently quit because I went to the dermatologist and she said I don’t have skin cancer 🙏 but a lot of sun damage and I’m only 27. Fake tan it is from now on it’s so hard but I’m trying

as somebody with eczema/dry skin i have to say Garnier Summer Body is the best one i’ve tried!!! doesn’t cling to any scars or dry patches like foaming mousse often does

Omg I never heard of spraying urself with deodorant, but that, girlfriend, IS It totally works too, I just tried it for the first time and no more wet, sticky feeling, I literally use to wait hours before putting my clothes on after self tanning but now, 5 minutes tops! Or as soon as you stay the deodorant all over!! Thank you so much!!! You definitely just helped me take my self tanner journey up 10

a good cheap one is la looks luxury sunless mousse, it smells so good and even if you do a terrible job when you wash it off it looks good, but you have to shave and exfoliate before you put it on and also put lotion on your feet, hands, elbows, knees, under your arms, or on dry areas so it doesn’t stick to them and make it patchy, it doesn’t make you orange and you can wear clothes like 45 minuets after it’s on but you’ll be dark af so I wouldn’t suggest dressing until after you wash it off after having it on for 8 hours
