1. Jen Dollface, The Stitchin Witch
My name is Jen, also known as The Stitchin Witch! I have an unconventional approach to knitwear design, with an insatiable passion for the strange and unusual. I am obsessed with discovering new and interesting ways to construct silhouettes and manipulate stitches, a process as experimental and eclectic as the inspiration behind it. Mythology, ritual, film, music, nostalgia, literature, and nature all collide in a frenzy of whimsical story telling that encourages limitless possibilities for the craft of knitting. This is a journey to the space between dreams and reality, where I can not only explore the world around me, but invite others to do the same.

Ruth Nguyen is knit & crochet designer and all-around yarn nerd! Her work has appeared in publications by Knit Picks, Quince & Co., and others. In 2021, she served as one of SweetGeorgia Yarns' first-ever Designers in Residence. She also self-publishes designs inspired by her favorite things—books, music, movies, and nature—many of which are collaborations with beloved indie dyers. If you know the secret to knitting and crocheting while sleeping, let her know. It sure would come in handy with all the designs she's cooking up...

6. Sarah Kelly
I live, knit and play in Alberta, Canada. I have three grown children, one grown Siberian husky, and a very supportive husband.
My mom taught me to knit when I was about 8 years old. I worked in her yarn store in my early teens, helping customers change yarn in patterns, correcting mistakes in their knitting, and helping to choose colours. From an early age I knew how to change patterns to make them my own.
Knitting hasn’t always been a big part of my life. When my kids were little I didn’t knit very much at all. However, I always found it a comforting activity when I needed some down time.
In 2014 I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. It was a particularly hard year with changes in medication and learning to navigate unpredictable symptoms. The one thing I could do without having to concentrate was knit. Knitting kept me sane.

7. Venita Kidwai
Born in the UK, I’ve lived in and around London most of my life. I’m a graphic designer working in the publishing industry but knitting is my daily passion. Having these two skills means I’ve always been designing whilst knitting. I’m interested in projects that have unusual features like a new stitch pattern; a novel way of knitting or the use of traditional lace elements in a new way.
