BBF - 😂❤❤! I love that so much. I don't think BBF kicks in for me until a book goes beyond 500 pages, but I definitely appreciate short books that pack a lot of content/story into them. That Toni Morrison book sounds amazing - I've never heard of that one, so I will certainly check it out. My favorite book by TM has been "Sula" so far, and that one is also fairly short.

Couldn't agree more 👍 some authors write too damn long, if they can't tell a story in 300-something pages at most then what is their problem? And they'd better be on the level of Dostoyevsky if they are going to go further! 😸😆
