EUV is finally here... Or at least that what appears extremely likely with the Tinto Talks and the Illusive "Project Caesar" being developed by Paradox Tinto, the group that works on EU4 and has been developing EU4 DLCs like Winds of Change. EUV and Project Caesar as seen in the Paradox Tinto talks will be different in many ways when comparing it to EU4. This includes taking features from games like Imperator Rome, Vic3 and CK3 and repurposing them for EUV hopefully in a successful way. So Today I wanted to through what I think of Project Caesar/EUV and to gauge interest in a new Europa Universalis game.

Tinto Talks (The Dev Diaries for Europa Universalis 5:

Title: EU5 Is Coming!
Topics: A video discussing what is Paradox Project Caesar, what are the Tinto Talks and what is coming with EU5. I go into depth on EU5's start Date 1337, what the Tinto Talks discussed, and the changes from EU5 compared to EU4. Obviously there is still more to learn and Paradox is still working on EU4 with EU4 Winds of Change, but having a new Europa Universalis Game on the horizon is exciting!

the eu5 look honestly like a vast improvement.
there is everything, classic wars & naval warfare + imperator&vic2 pop and trade systems who are both great + some new stuffs we never had before .
if we are lucky they can even use the new engine with it to allow map change such as the dutch reclaming lands from the sea .

i think we are safe with this one Johan is not taking risks anymore and is relying on us so this ambitious project dont flop . its his career that is on the like he almost did quit after imperator

Its not a fair comparison. Youre comparing sometime decade old games with decades of dlc with a new release. CK3

I don't think Vicky 3 is more of a economy simulator than Vicky 2, the economy just feels like a bigger part because the game released with huge amounts of missing content
