In this video, I show how to install PowerShell in Windows Subsystem for Linux version 2. After it's copied to the machine, I then show how to configure the VS Code PowerShell extension so that you can execute PowerShell on the Linux WSL instance.

For this video, I was running Windows 10 version 2004 and Ubuntu 18.04.

Thanks for the video. Didn't realize Powershell has a Linux version that needs to be installed natively in the WSL distro.

Looks like there’s a bug. Explorer.exe is suppose to open the location of directory you are currently in on Ubuntu without you having to navigate by manually typing \\wsl$
