My second comment..
I dont understand why some people are so negative. This is a beautiful story about Laura, her dad and her brother! Like my mom used to say, and I bet y'all's did too. If you cant say anything nice about some one, say nothing at all!

Laura’s Dad made me shed tears when he said I’ll say I love you and I’ll give her a hug. That’s wonderful

Nten seems like a special young man. I think I'm as happy for him as I am for Laura.

"Even if I leave this world, I have set my eyes on Laura." Such beautiful words from an honorable man.

I hope that there are special places reserved in heaven for Nicky and Davina as a reward for all the joy and happiness they have brought to so many people. They both are just good people.

I felt fulfilled watching Laura meet her father and brother! Strange how you can feel so invested in people you don't even know. I just wish we could see her go to Nigeria and meet her 12 brothers and sisters!

Oh how soul-touching Laura's story is. In Africa, Im sure everywhere in the world, but im speaking from our African experience, children are even more valuable than gold. They are your legacy. It doesn't matter which mother they come from, how they came about, etc. they are valued. I cried.

I'm so glad Laura was able to meet her father before he dies.

Anyone else grin like crazy when Laura and Ntennstood up to see who is taller? That was so adorable. I feel bad for the twins and the lack of affection they received. I love lids and love on them even if they are strangers. They call me Auntie at church because when the babies are crying they bring them to me. They hit this shoulder or lap and go straight to sleep. I can’t have kids anymore and I’m too sick to adopt. It fulfills me. I just don’t see how someone can not be affectionate toward children.

I wept. Not just cried. Someday, I hope to set eyes on my own Father.

Omg! Laura's father is as cute as a button. Happy that he has gotten to see her and she has gotten to hear him telling her that he loves her.

Although he had 12 children- lovely how Laura's father never forgot about her.

Anyone else crying when Laura’s dad looks at her in awe and says “I love you”? No, just me? Ok.. 😭😭😭

My mother is the first child of her mother and father: a Bahamian father and an American mother. She met her father, for the first time at the age of 25 and it was as if they had been waiting for her, my mother’s father let everyone know that she was his first born child lived in America.Though, she was not raised by him all of her Bahamian siblings say she is most like their father. Her American siblings have always referred to her as a foreigner, strange, different not like them. We are from south Florida and people always think we are West Indian; we represent our African-American heritage however people literally tell us we aren’t, funny. This reunion made me cry; completion.

African men aren’t the best at being expressive with their emotions especially when it makes them vulnerable and soft but these two men right here let it all out. Laura means so much to them.
