Hello everyone! This week Once Upon A December from Anastasia.

You know what they say, the third time is the charm.
There was a huge phase where I HATED this song. It was requested all the time on livestreams and I was soooo sick of it. Clearly, I’m not sick of it anymore. It is also super cool to be able to hear the progression of my voice over the past 5 years.

I am sorry for the lack of uploads this month. I usually try to end the year off with a bang but between equipment issues and running on fumes, not much was accomplished. This will be my last upload of 2022 because I am tired and need a nice long break. As per usual, I'll be gone until the end of January but then we'll be back in the swing of things. I hope you all have a great holiday season and I'll see you then : )

Once Upon a December is one of those songs that always, always causes me to tear up. The desire to remember being loved and cared for and happy, but only the recollection of a faceless voice singing a lullaby. 😭

This song is so beautiful and so sad... she thinks she's imagining a grand ball but she's really reliving her last memory of her family and her home...without even knowing she's dancing with her father and sisters... she doesn't even know why she's vaguely sad and it HURTS MY HEART! THIS IS SO WELL DONE!!! YOUR VOICE IS BEAUTIFUL!
