I have this study Bible in the black leather soft. It is my “go to” for studying and even my carry bible for church service. The notes are extremely thorough and the maps are so vibrant and helpful. On the rare occasion that I can’t wrap my head around something, I love my J Vernon McGee 5 volume set handed down from my grandfather.

I so wish it had red letter. I still am considering for my husband. Hoping the study notes and pictures help encourage him to open it up and read more. It's between this and the ESV study Bible so far. So hard to choose as a gift for someone.

Looks great! I have an older version of the NKJV Study Bible that I liked enough to have it imprinted with my name. It might be time for an upgrade though!

Love the design and features. I agree that it should have a better legend / guide to the features / articles etc in this bible. The Thomas Nelson KJV Full colour version has a great legend / guide to features. How does it treat in the NT quotes of the OT? I might have liked the cross references in a centre column but no big deal.

I have the 2nd edition of this Bible in a personal size. Instead of the references being between the commentary and text, the 2nd edition has them between the columns.
