UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson was confronted by a Ukrainian at a press conference in Warsaw, Poland.

Daria Kaleniuk, who said she was from Kyiv and had family and colleagues still in Ukraine, accused Nato of being unwilling to enforce a no-fly zone out of fear of a World War Three that has “already started”.

"We are crying, we don't know where to run," she told him.

The UK prime minister said that “direct combat” with Russia was not something the UK could do, but he was "doing everything we can to tighten the economic noose".

I never liked Boris, but he handled this with poise and dignity. He respectfully listened to every one of the reporter's points, and even seemed to write down some points to keep it clear in his mind.

Man it’s tough to be a leader especially during this time

Boris was absolutely gold when it comes to the quality of listening in this case.

Boris is right.Yes it is a tragic situation but if WW3 gets triggered it gets even more tragic for Ukraine and everyone else in Europe if not the world. Wars suck, all wars suck. This is not the first conflict but if NATO gets involved militarily it may well be the last for humanity .

A very difficult question, one of which many people will have been thinking. I think Boris handled it well. It's heart breaking to hear the desperation in her voice.

I like him, he's empathetic, but also giving it to her straight..no BS

This might be the first time I’ve heard Boris be honest and sincere

Let us all remember over 100 million people died in ww2 with 80 year old technology. It is profoundly painful to see so much senseless suffering but the powers that be must thread carefully.

You can just, he feels for her. It's in his eyes. I don't even want to imagine the stress of being in that position.

I’m no fan of Boris but very sadly he is right in everything he said 100% we must not let this turn into a world war. What scares me is if a NATO country is hit like Poland 🇵🇱 or Lithuania 🇱🇹

I must say he did handle the questions quite well.

The British Prime minister gave an honest response for once about the situation in Ukraine, that's respectable.

This woman is not a journalist. Daria Kaleniuk is an activist with the WEF.

Boris is genuine here. He 'feels' her and is sad about it himself. But, however, there's a lot at stake. This man uses his brain.

So heart wrenching. Sadly though, glad someone finally said it. Should of been honest from the get go that a global war was not an option.

He's so damn right.
As he being a leader of Britain his first priority is to prevent their citizens from the risk getting involved in this war .

I've had issues with Boris in the past... But today I support him.
