Hey Sam Harris, how about chiming in on the Biden administration and all the wonderful things now? Or will you show your true colors br remaining silent? I suspect the latter...

No obsession with Trump. The fact that none of these intellectuals talk about the sitting president should better describe them.

Trump was doing the best he could with his knowledge and somewhat poor vocabulary. It is the proudest moment in his entire life. He was trying to be for the people, by the people. I would trust Trump over Pritzker, the Clintons and Obama.

Sam is dangerous because of his demeanor you want to trust him.

We are in deep trouble because of people like Sam Harris and Noam Chomsky.

In my opinion the worst feature of intelectuals is their belief that if they have extreme understandment and skill in one area, that understandment and skill is transferable 1:1 to other aerias.

Your daily reminder that Noam Chomsky is a linguist and is vastly out of his Lane when he talks about anything else.

Never take Harris seriously! Many intellectuals believe that eloquence is a sign of great wisdom. It is not! One can be not good with words and at the same time have clear vision, strong common sense and right instincts. And vice versa – as we see here. Good public speaking skills – and one huge mistake after another. Professor Sowell is so right about all these so called “intellectuals”!

“This isn’t political.”

Precedes to make conjectures & a clinical diagnosis w/o evidence based on observations made by other political figures.

The term intellectuals implies intelligent thought.
Untempered failed ideologies are their province.
Sage like diction and vocabulary appears their only strength.

Everyone should read the last chapter of intellectuals by Paul Johnson.

Being called an intelectual... is not a compliment.

I think a man that does not believe in free will has anything to say on what anyone does.

Harris' analogies are complete nonsense.

While I would say Trump is an orating train wreck, no one can argue that some of his policies not only worked but stand out in their achievements. Harris takes a dig at Trump for his chaotic nature but it is that same chaotic nature that kept the world's lunatic fringe in check.

Sam Harris talks Incessantly without ever saying anything of substance. Everything he says must be just taken as gospel in his mind.

There are three types of people on earth. The Sighted (Spirit-led). The Blind in Part (knowledge-led). The Blind (typically Atheists and Pagans - intellects or otherwise, there are now more of these souls than the other two groups). Sam is not Blind, but, neither is he Sighted. He is an intelligent Atheist, yes, but, his knowledge is rooted in Blindness. what he offers can only impress the Blind or the worst of the Blind In Part.

As an atheist (6 on Dawkins’ scale) I align with most of what Sam Harris has argued. As a former liberal democrat, I also had low regard for Trump until 2018.

Reviewing his 2 years in office, he had kept more promises and done more to protect and promote America than any president in recent history. I’ve lost most of my friends and family with this view from facts.

I’ve pleaded with Sam to critically examine the benefits to America and overlook the sometimes distasteful nature of his character. People of lesser accomplishment have acted far worse. Trump made business deals, not terms of surrender.

Sam, you have an unreasonably stubborn hatred of the man. Is there some underlying personal offense that you suffered; that we don’t know about? On this I find you as delusional as the believers you’ve debated.

Thank you Thomas Sowell and Larry Elder for opening my eyes to my imprisonment in the liberal democratic intellectual ivory tower.
