Do I Regret Leaving California? (my honest thoughts will probably offend you)

A lot of people are moving back to California after leaving. I left and it’s been a few months since. I share what I regret about leaving as well as all the things I don’t regret. The traffic and the prices have gotten worse. The food isn’t great. The only thing it has going for it is the weather and the mary jane. I choose to leave the city for a slow living lifestyle in a small town in Arizona. Best decision I ever made.

After returning to California I immediately felt a darkness that overwhelmed me. People around me looked either hyper agitated or withdrawn. It was dirty and littered in a state that boasts being environmentally aware.
I feel for those, especially the children, who can’t leave.

I've lived in California my whole life 50yrs, and cannot imagine living anywhere else. You have the beaches, mountains, the desert. I've traveled through out the US and for the most part all the big cities have the same problems even in states like Arizona and Texas. California is crowded and everything does take more time effort and money, but the payoff is nowhere else can you experience the variety of food, entertainment, attractions, and the varied landscapes. California! Home sweet home ✌❤

It’s not just the traffic, the entire place is anxiety inducing. Crowded streets, smaller homes/apartments, less parking, crowded beaches, crowded stores. All of it is stress inducing

I totally get it.... born and raised in Cali.... moved to NC because husband was military.... went to visit family in Cali....I am now a permanent resident of NC lol

Girl it’s cuase you live in L.A. County by Hollywood. If you live in Orange County no one is going to LA for drinks. We go south so many beaches and pretty places Newport Beach, Laguna Beach.
