Kirby's Anniversary is a game to be released in I believe July and Metroid is getting a cool crossover with Star Fox.

Except we just had Return to Dreamland for Wii, which has been in development since the Gamecube.

Besides that, Kirby was born on the Game Boy, and while sure some of his critically acclaimed games were on consoles (Adventure, Super Star, Crystal Shards, Epic Yarn) a 3DS Kirby game would feel right at home for the little guy. (Especially considering how well the Kirby Streetpass Puzzle looks.)

A ds kirby was made, we have a 20th anniversary so there should be something more special. Sure 3ds kirby sounds amazing, but needs to be on the home console once more or announced on the wii U

The series officially ended with Mother 3; and with all three games, there are apparent copyright issues, hence why none of the three games have yet to be localised, and may never; since I think they are afraid that making too many changes would upset the fans; which includes stuff such as removing songs and replacing them.
