Look, I like Reggie and I know that he’s just doing his job here.
But oh my god, this is painful to watch. Every answer seemed like a cop out at the time, and now that it’s 8 years later, I can say definitively that all of Geoff’s concerns ended up being very true.

This had to be the hardest part of Reggie’s job: having to pitch and sell something that you KNOW has a ton of flaws. Glad Nintendo pivoted to the Switch.

Go watch the 2013 interview between these 2.  They don't like one another.  Props to Geoff for being rightly critical.

You ever go back to old videos and correct people in the comments with hindsight knowledge? lol

and nintendo once again fails to realize that people have already caught on to the rip off of what essentially equates to DLC

Throughout the conference I was like "good good good this is all fine" just waiting for the big game announcements at the end to put it over the top and make the WiiU both relevant and worth buying and it never came.. very disappointed.

I like how the release for Project P-100 is actually not "launch window" but over a year later

Reggie really looked incompetent on this one.

i think it's more for people who for what ever reason haven't played it on xbox or ps yet ahahah. it's not like a sequel or anything- just like a special addition.

There is already speculation from retailers in the UK that the system is going to £280 which $400 in the US. Australian retailer EB Games has listed $600 which is in keeping with that and Iwata has already said the system will cost more than 20, 000 Yen which at that price would have put it at $250, I think the system will cost closer to 30, 000 Yen which would put it in line with what stores have been estimating.

Yeah, R.I.P. Wii-U even though most of its best games are coming out over the next year or so.

They need more "ZombieU" like titles and Assassin's Creed III running on WiiU in gameplay.

It just is to me too. I've been glad to see the show floor Assassin's Creed--even though I've never bought one of those games--and ZombiU footage

I'm in shock that some of these comments here are saying "Yeah Reggie did awesome!". Keep drinking the koolaid, kids.
