Marvin Gaye himself would be ashamed they made a lawsuit out of this.

If the guy who invented 7 notes of music lives in today, He will sue all of music artists for using his notes 😂😂 ..lol

The music industry is insanely saturated. It’s impossible not to sound like another song at this point

Wait till those people finds out that rhytms and songs could have no other possible combinations (didnt think its rn)

This will kill creativity if singer/songwriters are afraid to be sued

Disgusting family trying to sue for something they had no part in... Greed runs thick in that families veins.

Bro imagine chilling then you get a phone call saying you’re gonna get sued for a song you made a decade ago

They must be running low on money or something for suing Ed after almost 10 years since the song had being released.

Pretty sure Marvin Gaye is dead and it’s his family that keeps up these crazy lawsuits?

Law by Mike goes hand and hand with Jared's channel. They both help each other out. And we all learn a something or two everytime

So basically beats and these synchronisation can be sued now? lol... it means we must create an unearthly, extra terrestrial beat beat from other dimension 😂

I mean at one point or another one of the millions of songs out there are going to have similar rhythms,

It definitely sounds alike can’t deny that it even has the same beat but with a different tune. As a musician myself I kind of see what they’re talking about

How dare a song have any similarities at all to another song!

though the producer / composer should be sued for not crediting the sample, not the singer. yes guys, there are laws on sampling. its not unheard of.

I actually thought he knew he was copying 🤣

1. The people who sued was NOT Marvin Gaye' Estate. It was Ed Townsend (the co-writer) and an Investment Banking Firm owned by David Pullman. The David Pullman suit is from the UK. STOP throwing MG's estate into this. All up and down this threat disgusting people have written nasty things about him, his family. Their estate won the case they brought against Pharrel and Ribin Thicke. These cases are very hard to win, so fans can calm down.

As Pharrell watches from behind trying to find the blurred lines between both songs 🤣🤣🤣
