Chicory A Colorful Tale is super cozy and very heartfelt. Coloring in the world as you go like a coloring book. The story is very emotional and can resonate with a lot of people.

I would also place Yonder on this list. No combat, just a pretty world to explore, quests to finish to help other people and and stuff like fishing and farming!

Would also recommend VA-11 Hall-A to anyone who liked Coffee Talk. Similar setup, but you’re a bartender making cocktails in a dystopian cyberpunk bar.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land is the BIGGEST and one of the BEST Kirby games of all time after Triple Deluxe and Robobot Planet it looks so good and have interesting story and the other game in this list is Snufkin Melody of Moominvalley is the BEST Cozy game on Nintendo Switch defienitily as a finnish who LOVES Moomin it was so nice to see there came Moomin game for Switch in this year and because I've never played Moomin games on PC as a kid so Snufkin game was my first ever played Moomin game and it's in my GOTY 2024 list I LOVE it that much! 😊❤

Suprised kirby and the forgotten land made the list. The bonus world that unlocks after you beat the game is the opposite of cozy 😳
I get made fun of'd though when I reccomend the game to everybody and call it a "god teir" switch game. It really is in that batch of best of switch games and might be the best kirby game made 👌

Absolutely criminal to miss out in the BEST cozy game on the Switch: Art Of Balance! This is my personal 5th most played game on the Switch with 120 hours in. It has THE MOST relaxing music to enjoy while you simply stack pieces to solve very chill puzzles. Whoever has not tried this game at Nintendo Life should do so immediately. It is amazing.

Also, I want to say that Captain Toad is cozy for the most part, but the last level "Mummy-Me Maze Forever" is the HARDEST, most gruelling, least relaxing level in ANY Mario game. I have beaten Champion's Road in Super Mario 3D World with all the characters, but I cannot finish Mummy-Me Maze Forever no matter how many times I try. I have over 15 hours on that level alone and still haven't finished it. The level really soured my feelings on the game, which I initially loved, but now have decidedly bitter feelings about. I wish they would have put the amiibo functionality in that level so I could have super star power throughout just so I can finish the game.

But yeah, go play Art Of Balance and tell me that's top shelf cozy material!

Spiritfarer is such a gem! One of my favorites in Tiny Lands, a very simple 3d spot the difference game.

It's so soothing

In the same vein, I find Tetris Effect Connected a super soothing game! The soundtrack that follows your moves is satisfying too!

I recommend Haven Park. It gets overlooked a little due to comparison with A Short Hike but it is worth getting.

Breath of the Wild & TOTK are my favorite cozy games personally. You can freely go as slow as you want and just listen to the ambience. Just wish they’d let us sit or fish.
