German Strength Training Device - Javelin Specific

Made specifically for 2013 World Champion Christina Obergfoll the Kraft Training Gerät (German for Strength Training Device) allows athletes to throw along an ideal trajectory with little risk of injury.

The device sled weighs 3.8k and can be loaded with as much as 10k for a maximum weight of 13.8k. This allows athletes to develop throwing strength that is very javelin specific.

Sled is thrown for maximum velocity which is measured between two preset points and is printed in milliseconds after each throw.

please note: this does not feel like throwing a 13.8k ball! Do not try and simulate this at home!

Suomessa on ollut käytettävissä vastaavia laitteita ainakin jo 1960-luvulta lähtien, mutta lajia ajatellen kokonaisvaltaisemmassa muodossa ja toteutettuina merkittävästi halvemmalla kuin videossa esitelty laite!!
