How to Add LED Strip Lights to Work Van

Made a video to show how I added LED strip lights to the back of my work van (2016 Ford Transit Connect).

LE 16.4ft Waterproof Flexible LED Light Strip

Tools & Material I used:
16.4 Ft Waterproof Flexible LED Light Strip
22/4 Wire
Butt Connectors 22 to 16 AWG
Electrical tape
Wire strippers
Multimeter
Soldering Iron
Solder
Flux
Hot Glue Gun

Nice try always work from the dead end back to the live connection you done it live so every connection was done live under load just a tip in case you had a short in a wire or something that could fry the wiring in the van happened to my bud lights look brilliant & bright 👍

Heatshrink tubing placed over LED tape ends and wiring would have created a finished job, and insulated the connections

Hey Robert, this is exactly what I wanna do with my econoline. Is there any issues with splicing into the existing cab light as far as power goes? Like the fuse or the wiring being able to handle the draw?

Nice work. I saw the cable spools in your van what type of work do you do? Also, do you have a switch for the lights or is it just strictly when the doors open that they come on?

Nice video :) One question for you. When I connect an LED tape to your video and when I close the trunk, the tape still lights up like a spot light. Any solution?
