the first one is the most effective.. i can guarantee it with experience.. one of the most things people love is hearing their name, in fact, nothing beats hearing their name from someone they barely know..

Think about it from their perspective, when someone calls out their name, they immediatly think "he remembers my name, so he probably pays attention to me" once he thinks this, they'll immediatly get closer to you than when you barely remember people's names.. because if you're a person who keeps forgetting names then you're probably not worth being friends for, is what most people gonna think.

one of the best psychology to make people like you is make them think you like them first. hence why, by saying their name, you're making them think you're interested enough in them to even remember their name..

here's an example
❌ - "hey bro can you give me your homework?"
✅ - "hey [name] can i ask for your homework? because i forgot to do it last night."

Bonus: if you're asking for something, always add "because" on it and then a reason.. it doesn't even matter what it is, whether its the truth or a lie, people are more willing to follow you as long as you add a reason on it..

for example:
"can you let me sit here? because its my mother's birthday" people are most likely gonna say yes even if they think its bs or they dont believe you because you have a reason.. but what if you had just said "can i sit here?" instead? because you dont have a reason, most of the time they're gonna say no.
