To Kokushibo's credit, his Breathing style may not be as powerful as Sun Breathing and he's nowhere near Yorichi, but Moon Breathing is one of the strongest Breathing styles in the series

The upper moons have been replaced a few times in these 4 centuries, including the times in this series, but the Upper Moon 1 position has never been replaced, the position that Kokushibou has always been in.

Kokushibo’s mindset is comparable to that of a gamer using cheats sparingly only to beat someone specifically(his brother) but the more he uses and annihilates other players, he realizes he can never be like his brother and it’s no longer fun so he quits the game.

Kokushibou is much stronger than most people think. He really only died because of how he realized he practically gave up everything and gave up.

My absolute favorite fight of the series is Gyomei, Sanemi, Muichiro and Genya vs Kokushibou, that ones gonna break the internet for sure.

Personally, I think he’s one of the best Upper-Moons. His character design and moon-breathing also makes him one of the coolest, if not THE coolest upper-moon.

The Kokushibo vs Hashiras were the most epic fight in the whole series for me, I would love to see that gets animated 😊

Kokushibo is a character that bringed fear even inside the demon world..
His breathing style is also immensely powerful and the fact that they needed more than one pillar along with genya to take him down speaks on how talented and powerful he was..
Btw he has one of the craziest and most monstrous demon designs in the story..

The sad thing is, Kokushibou could’ve gotten what he wanted— to be his brothers equal even without turning into a demon in my opinion. He was so full of envy and bitterness that he didn’t see that his style had potential too; it’s not that he was weaker persay, but he did things different, and rather than chasing Yoriichi’s shadow, he could’ve went his own path to develop.

The fact that kokushibu kept that broken flute after killing his own brother was so touching bcoz he truly loved his brother but he was blinded by his own hatred, that's bcoz his brother was talented from beginning and not him,
It's like in family ur little brother is excellent in studies and other works but u r not good at anything feeling jealous and uselessness that drives u hatred towards ur brother or own yourself
he even didn't abandoned his samurai principles after becoming demon that's why he wasn't using his demon power against the pillars

I really wished he was the final boss, imagined in a world where he can defile Muzan and absorb him. It just makes sense since our tanjiro is an ongoing quest to discover his journey with the sun breathing just to end up facing the counterpart in the end which is moon.

The better version of the final boss, in my opinion. Muzan's blood demon art was underwhelming at best compared to the demons he created.

Haven’t u noticed that kokushibo is always the runner up he was the second strongest demon slayer behind his brother has the second strongest breathing style and the second strongest demon behind muzan

There's a special kind of epicness to the muichiro vs Kokoshibo fight, given that the mist pillar one shot Gyokko after awakening his mark, and Kokoshibo one shotted awakened muichiro after just drawing his sword.

It really shows how upper moon 1 is on a completely different level than the other demon moons.
