Don’t have the car running when coding, depending on what you code it will reset the module after coding and it will kill the engine with a hard stop. It’s happened to me. Use a battery charger with enough power instead.

Hey man, I was working on a 2013 F10 M5 with Carly and have been experiencing some issues. I connected to the car and tried to code the folding comfort access mirrors, during the implementation stage the coding process failed. My adapter stopped working and wouldn't reconnect, and the car has been having malfunction warnings pop up. I've got a new adapter now and gonna go back to try it again, but was wondering if you have any experience with this??

On the Carly does it have the power to change parameters in the DME? Like for an example with the e60 changing the code from Automatic to manual in the Kombi and some other modules like the cas.
