Carly is a bit of a rip off. Nowhere on its website does it CLEARLY state that it's a subscription service charged annually. When you go to checkout the checkout button is the first thing you see. You have to actually scroll down and only then do you see it saying that its a subscription service billed annually. Luckily i saw this but they know exactly what they're doing here. Also at the time of writing this it costs an extra £40-£60 to add all brands to the device. The annual charge is over £100 which is extremely expensive!
The product looks good, but the business model is horrible

I bought a Carly and a subscription, after a couple of uses, I wish I hadn't. The potential to damage the cars' ECU irreversibly is massive.

I bought one for £80 for my Audi and had to pay the same again for the subscription. The coding part, which is why I really bought it, did not work properly. I ended up sending it back and got a full refund for everything. In my experience it was a waste of money.

I bought a Carly to use on my Golf in the days when this was pretty much the only IOS option…. It wasn’t great. I could change things but found it difficult to reverse the change. The back up was hit and miss…. Mostly miss.
Thankfully OBDeleven bought out their new version of their VAG group specific wizardry which was IOS ready…. The OBDeleven is a better option for VW/Audi.
The Carly appears to work best with BMW only
