The A10 is extremely maneuverable because of the straight wing. It also has very large control surfaces. Its a beast

The A-10 is an armed and Armored flying tub. It can shrug off damage that would be lethal for the hornet and it's main gun needs only 1 round to totally disable the hornet.... If the A10 is able to get any kind of a firing angle everything else in the sky is in danger

the A-10 isn’t as helpless as it looks. very good slow speed performance and turning on a dime are very good advantages if used properly, plus an almost guaranteed oneshot from even a single shot from that cannon is a nice bonus
