Liquiter -- Soil liquefaction software
Liquiter evaluates the liquefaction risk of soils during an earthquake using methods based on the ratio between the soil resistance to shear stresses (Cyclic Resistance Ratio, CRR) and the ones induced by the earthquake (Cyclic Stress Ratio, CSR).
The methods need parameters from both the seismic event and the soil deposit -- the last ones are determined mostly using methods based on correlations of liquefaction resistance with parameters derived from in situ soil tests.
