It's either one of 3 things.

1. (Most likely) You don't interest us. Talking to you feels like a chore and we hate feeling obligated to reply. We leave it until the guilt of time passing overtakes the effort to text, usually over a day. Stop messaging us.

2. (Common, but not consistent) If every now and then we reply a day later, we were probably at work or out at some club. Don't take it personally, you're just not a huge priority. We'll get back to you.

3. (Least likely) We like you a lot and are nervous to text back. We either wait to think of the perfect reply or we sleep it off and wait to the next day to make a rational decision.

Reason #1 is maybe they really aren't into you as you are into then or maybe he/she is not interested at all!
Reason#2 could be that maybe they don't know what they want
Reason#3 they could be Interested but they want to play hard to get and play games!

The beginning makes sense but if it stays plateau or grows even more delayed over the days and weeks, the interest is not growing. Keep the cards open, don't chase, and find a match where both choose each other and have strong interest and personal security in knowing what they really want in life
