Bombas 15-20 compression socks are the absolute best. I’ve tried every brand and these are the most comfortable while also doing a great job.

These are terrific tips. You may have mentioned this already but always throw in your crossbody/carryon one of those little packable nylon grocery bags that fold to the size of like a deck of cards, so if you have to suddenly gate check your carryon suitcase, you can quickly stuff that little nylon grocery bag with anything in your suitcase you don't want away from you in the belly of the beast (medications, spare set of clothes, etc).

These comfort item suggestions are so helpful and made me think about making myself more comfortable even during a short flight!

I was able to use my bevledge carry sack as a pillow case on my last flight. I stuffed my sweater into the bag and it was a very helpful. Necessity is the mother of invention.

Great tips. I always pack a spare set of clothes in my personal item, including pants. After having a drink spilled in my lap inflight I added spare pants to my personal item packing list. I’m glad I did, when it happened again on a long haul flight I was able to easily change.

I debated buying the seat/tray cover. It’s a fantastic idea. Last minute I bought a slim seat travel pouch. Throw some essentials in there. You can put it in the seat pocket. I had room to keep it next to me. Turned out it was good I had it. Way home I was next to a mom with 2 young young kids. I’m normally extremely helpful, but I wasn’t too keen on the situation. Few deceitful things. I kept quiet, but I couldn’t access my tray table bc the lap baby’s head was blocking it. (Head or feet were in my lap the entire time.). I could get to my essentials bc I had this slim pouch next to me. Just another idea.

I love Tripped travel gear. Since I met you. I have been buying it for me, my daughter and for gifts to everyone that loves flying. I'm glad they sponsor you once in a while. You are a great sponsor for them. Their products are useful, they really perform for what they were created and more. Thank you Laurie, for all the useful information you provide us to make our traveling easier and much more comfortable.
I try to visit my daughter twice a year if I'm well, it is a very long flight (18hrs 2 legs). Your videos are wonderful. Keep up the good work. Enjoy life!

I took the Tripped compression cubes to MN over Christmas they are fantastic
Your items are so well thought out - love your videos soooo much!
What you’re doing surpasses others trying to do the same but you’re very detailed oriented. That matters. ❤

Lori, love your videos. I wish I could justify the national park packing cubes, I have two sets already from Tripped. A couple of things that I have found useful when traveling, one is the Gravel travel blanket. I am a colder sleeper, this blanket is very warm and very light weight. It has pockets for your feet, a snap that you can snap up around your neck. It also has a zip pocket that is next to your body when your feet are in the pockets. The blanket can also be folded into the pocket for a pillow. When I slept on my flight to Scotland I placed my passport and wallet in the pocket so it is next to my body. Gravel is a small relatively new business. The two gentleman started the company because they couldn’t find a toiletries bag they liked. Medicines for travel, I ordered small pill bottles from Amazon, and asked my pharmacy to print off labels of my prescriptions. Then take only the number of doses for the trip plus two extra doses. The small bottles took up much less room than the one size my pharmacy uses.

Hi! Leaving for London in a few weeks and taking so many of your ideas with! What my pharmacist did for me is print out the sticky bottle labels so I can put it on little baggies with the meds in them. Then pop the meds in their strip when I get to my destination. I pack a 2 day supply in a small bag for the flight. I have those compression bags, courtesy of watching one of the first videos you did, they work great! I tell everyone to watch your tips as they are so good!

My wife loves these earplanes but she bought the children's size and they fit her ears perfectly. She doesn't need them for international flights but for the Australian domestic flights and they work every time. She says Thankyou for your tips. 😊 kathy

I’ve been watching your packing videos since 2017 (usually to travel to London for multiple weeks ) my 1st us to uk trip was a nightmare bc I packed a giant suitcase (2 week trip ) that was lost (of course) I ended up having to buy a days worth of clothing in Oxford ( UK) I was so tired of lugging this huge suitcase I donated almost all my clothes to bring back gifts etc)
The net summer I found your channel ~ WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I was planning and now am proud to say I have a travel capsule wardrobe I keep near my carry on ( even my travel pro carry on was bc of your recommendation)
I’m going to visit my son in NYC in 3weeks so I’m back to ask Laurie what she’d pack
You’re the best thing to happen to my traveling .
Just thanks ❤

I did use an airplane tray cover for my long flights to/from Japan, the little hooks work great, I used a small crossbody to hold cards and passport for convenience and suggest the forward sleeping blowup pillow instead of neck pillow because it's a more natural position so your back will not hurt. I did like the travel hanging bag you recommended and used the clear removable section for essentials in my crossbody.. I ended up rolling my clothing, the packing cubes made it too bulky and it was easier to fill in gaps with smaller items. I only brought one pair of shoes that I had to throw out and buy a pair of Hoka in Japan because you walk everywhere and a lot of stairs. Noise canceling headphones and sleep mask a must. Water bottle and snacks in personal item as well. Hand wipes to clean your plane area must bring. I used the eyeglass wipes not the peeps. Agree that you need face/hand lotion, eye drops and lip moisturizer. I did have to put my cross body in my carry on.
