Coop it's never too late for a shake weight review!

I bought a $70 CAP barbell a few years ago and it works great. I now specifically look for CAP products on Amazon actually. I own several products from them, no issues. I also have a fixed dumbbell set (not from CAP) that I use often.

Hey Coop, recently stumbled on your channel when I started my home/Apt gym in my spare bed room. Funny story you might enjoy, I took your advice and got my first stall mat for my rack .I went to my local tractor supply and bought one at the counter, the guy said to pull my truck up to the cage and he would help me load it . The look on the guys face when I told him I was in a Camaro . we managed to roll it up and with the passenger and back seats down we got it in there ! I didn't think about how hard it was going to be to get it out of the car and up two flights of stairs by myself when I got home but I got it and it was worth all the trouble ! :)

After lifting weights for 56 years—the majority of the time at home—and having assembled 4 major home gyms over that time, this video is spot on.

3:11 Check out this Supplement Sponsor
14:58 Don't buy supplements!😂
TBH I drink LMNT on the daily mixed with creatine so both Coop approved I guess.

If you do buy a cheap barbell, you can always upgrade later and keep the cheap one as a beater bar for landmines and such. I totally agree with everything else though.

Thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into your videos—they’re incredibly helpful! I just bought my first home and can’t wait to start building my own gym. Your content gives me the confidence that I’m making smart choices and getting real value for the money I’m investing into it!

Ive had my $700 Nordic Track treadmill for over a decade. Somewhat loud, but still works perfectly.

As barbells go, my favorite is rogue's 2x aggro bar. It has the perfect depth of knurling and is 45lb instead of 20kg. Also it being fully stainless steel means it will be just as good for decades.

Just bought a ritfit smith/cable rack. Hope I'm not disappointed. I've had molded dumbbells forever. Love them... no need for adjustables at this point.

I'm very sensitive to smells, and also needed something I can move solo, so I went with the 3/8" Regupol interlocking rubber tiles for my basement gym, also figuring it's worth spending a little more for convenience and quality. They have virtually no smell, came pre-packed in 2s so was only about 16lbs to carry down the stairs. The floor turned out looking fantastic, you can barely see the seams, and the rubber is so dense even a plate tree loaded with 500+lbs didn't leave a dent.

The best thing I bought for my home is gymnastics rings. So versatile and really effective.

Also, I bought an Ab Lounger years ago. I loved that thing. Great for stretching out your back and for doing crunches.

We opted for fixed dumbbells and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. I can’t stand adjustables. Don’t like the cage and just love the feel and look of fixed. So worth it for us

I use fixed dumbbells for lighter weights, on a small CAP stand and iron master adjustables with the heavy handle kit and a Titan Stand for 25-100+lbs. Saves a ton of space.

“Fixed” Dumbbells: I love my dumbbells as I was able to get them fairly cheap overtime. I bought an all iron set from 5lbs to 40 lbs plus an aluminum rack for super cheap. I have 60s, 75s, 90s for the heavier weights. I just looked for deals on used ones. I only buy iron, no rubber.

Cheap Barbell: I have a cheap barbell that I use for deadlift pin pulls. I use my Texas Power Bar for everything else.

Specialty Equipment: I have a dip rack and grip machine. I do reverse hypers on the front of my dip rack. The grip machine is irreplaceable because I can’t replicate the exercises with anything else. There are some specialty equipment pieces that bring a high value for the benefit they bring.

Everything else on your list is spot on.
