Hello and Welcome to Adventures in America. This video will show you the updated travel restrictions effective May 1, 2021. Balikbayan Visa is back! Other foreign nationals with valid visas from previous IATF Rules are now allowed to enter!

The Philippine Balikbayan Visa (Republic Act No. 6768 as amended by RA 9174) was launched by the Philippine government to encourage Filipinos and overseas workers to come and visit their motherland. Please take note of the documents that needed to be presented before the Bureau of Immigration.

New Rules on Health Protocols for DOMESTIC TRAVEL issued by Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on February 26, 2021.

Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW): Register through OASIS Program and BalikPinas.PH

Standard Health Protocols:
Mandatory wearing of face masks and face shields.
Mandatory registration to Case Investigation Forms depending on the traveler’s type and port of entry (Manila, Cebu, Clark).
Mandatory use of the Traze Mobile Application to generate and scan their QR code when entering in, boarding from, and upon arriving in all Philippine Airports starting Nov. 28, 2020.

Im a US citizen traveling to the Philippines with my mother who is a balikbayan who will be staying for 1 year like she always does, what is the age limit (if any) that i can use the 1 year balikbayan visa! I’m traveling with her. As her son can i stay for a year also?

Maam all the original birth certificate were endorsed already when pilipinos become us citizen to us immigration then the old passpirt got lost wnat they gonna do. All records were in us immigration alloriginals.

Hello! I have a question. We are in the Philippines now I am dual citizen from US and my children are just US citizen. Planning to travel to US next month and come back in the Philippines after two months. Can we stil use the Balikbayan program? Or my kids needs to secure a visa since we are only away from the Philippines for 2 months? I am confused with the whole “who has been continuously out of the Philippines for a period of at least one (1) year”

I'm a dual citizen. My (US citizen) husband and I are thinking of going to the Philippines early next year. When do you mention to the Immigration officer that you want to avail the Balikbayan visa-free privilege? Do you mention it when you get to the window? We have been visiting the Philippines and only stayed for a month. I want to make sure I'm mentioning it at the right moment and avoid irritating the Immigration Officer. Hi Ma'am i am a filipina po who got here in Mexico Dec 10, 2020 with a tourist visa to meet my USCitizen boyfriend. We got married here in Mexico also in December. This coming October po pauwi kmi together. We have all the original docs needed like PSA marriage Certificate. Ask ko lang po kung need pa ba ni husband ko ng visa to enter the philippines? Qualified po b cya sa balikbayan program? wla pa po akong 1 yr na continously out the country, 9 months palang po sa OCtober na flight namin..One way ticket lang din po kmi kasi ung pag uwi namin is for my US visa interview kaya wala pa po return ticket kasi d ko pa po alam kelan ako mainteriew? also po PWD po ako.. Thailand allows fully vaccinated fjoreign tourists to enter the island of Phuket, and stay anywhere, without quarantine or restrictions for 14-days, and then go where they want in any area of Thailand. The Philippine government could start with the Tacloban airport. The problem, in the Philippines, would be with the provinces that demand full control of their area. To prevent control of any provincial area a federal mandate could be imposed for NO quarantine or restrictions throughout the island where Tacloban is. NO visa for 30-days with visa extensions at the Tacloban airport for tourists without a round trip or continue on flights scheduled. Covid testing at the Tacloban airport but lower the charge unless the government helps pay for covid testing of the legitimate workers going back to the Philippines. I know that some female international workers have fake working permits as nannies to meet their international lovers. The legally married Philippine woman gets married in a foreign country where they have the nanny job while being legally married in the Philippines means BIGAMY. The Philippine government would never find out. The Philippine government could contact me about this.

Now thats what she said: we still didnt get any memo from the philippines that you can travel or get a visa And she start asking how many times you have traveled there, and when was last time for you there ?

Good am. I am US citizens now and holder of US passport but I still have old PHILIPPINES passport and birth certificate from PH. Do I need to get visa to travel in the Philippines? My old Philippines passport was expired and my last departure in the Philippines was 2018
